Justice sits with a sword upright and scales level, eyes open — unlike the blindfolded statue, she is looking straight at you. The card is about cause and effect arriving on schedule: decisions have consequences and this is where they land. Upright, it favours the honest accounting, the fair outcome, and taking responsibility for your part before you are asked to.
Reversed
unfairness, evasion, imbalance
Reversed, the scales are off. This may be genuine injustice done to you, or a reckoning you are working hard to avoid — the unreturned call, the thing not disclosed. It also appears when you are judging harshly with only part of the story. The remedy is the same in each case: get the full account on the table.
