Five of Swords
Swords is the suit of air — thought, conflict, and the truth told plainly.
Upright
hollow victory, conflict won badly, cost
One figure gathers swords with a smirk while two others walk away defeated. He won, and the card is not congratulating him. Upright, it asks what the win cost in goodwill, and whether being right was worth what being right required.
Reversed
reconciliation, amends, letting the fight go
Reversed, the fight loosens. This is the apology offered, the argument dropped, or the recognition that continuing to win this is a way of losing something larger. It can also be the lingering aftermath — the resentment that outlasts the dispute.
Every draw here is a real quantum draw — Five of Swords is one of the 78 you might get, and a friend of your choosing reads it aloud.
