Six of Swords
Swords is the suit of air — thought, conflict, and the truth told plainly.
Upright
passage, leaving for calmer water, transition
A ferryman poles a boat carrying a hooded figure and a child, six swords upright in the hull. The water ahead is calmer than behind. Upright, this is moving on — sad, necessary, and in the right direction. You take the swords with you; that is allowed.
Reversed
stuck in transit, unfinished leaving, returning
Reversed, the crossing stalls. You are between two places without arriving at either, or you keep going back to water you already left. It can also mark a departure resisted so long the boat has become the residence.
Every draw here is a real quantum draw — Six of Swords is one of the 78 you might get, and a friend of your choosing reads it aloud.
