XXI · Major Arcana
The World
Upright
completion, wholeness, arrival, the circle closed
A dancer moves inside a wreath, the four living creatures at the corners, everything integrated. The World is the last card and it is about genuine completion — not the end of effort but the closing of a circle you have actually walked all the way around. Upright, it says the thing is finished, the lesson is integrated, and you are permitted to notice that you arrived.
Reversed
near-completion, loose ends, delayed closure
Reversed, you are close but not through. There is a last piece unfinished — often small, often avoided precisely because it is the last one — or a chapter you have walked away from without properly ending. The card asks for the unglamorous final step, since without it the circle stays open and the next one cannot start.
Every draw here is a real quantum draw — The World is one of the 78 you might get, and a friend of your choosing reads it aloud.
