Upright
warmth, confidence, magnetic self-possession
She sits facing forward with a sunflower and a black cat, entirely at ease with being looked at. This is confidence that warms rather than competes — the person who is most herself in a room and makes it easier for everyone else to be themselves too. Upright, it asks for that unapologetic presence.
Reversed
insecurity, jealousy, brightness withdrawn
Reversed, the warmth turns brittle. Confidence hollows into needing the room's approval, generosity curdles into comparison, or the light is deliberately dimmed to take up less space. The cat's watchfulness has taken over from the sunflower.
