He sits facing forward, sword slightly tilted, entirely undistracted. This is the mind as an instrument of fairness — decisions made on principle, held consistently, explained rather than imposed. Upright, it favours the rigorous, honest call even when it costs you something.
Reversed
coldness, dogma, cleverness without conscience
Reversed, judgement detaches from care. Logic gets used to justify what was already wanted, principles become rules applied to others only, or intelligence turns into a way of never being wrong. Truth without warmth stops being useful.
